Description
A compact 8 channel digital signal processor with an integrated Class D power amplifier, designed for more advanced system layouts while maintaining stable OEM integration. PE4.8DA builds on the same DSP platform and tuning philosophy as the Performance range, offering expanded system capability in a clean and controlled format.
The DSP is handled by a 24 bit / 192 kHz Cirrus Logic platform. Each channel can be adjusted using a 31 band equaliser, flexible crossover filters and precise time alignment. The integrated Class D amplifier delivers 4 x 50 W RMS into both 4 ohm and 2 ohm loads, ensuring consistent output and predictable behaviour regardless of speaker impedance.
PE4.8DA is built to integrate cleanly with modern OEM systems. High level inputs with Smart Load Circuitry ensure compatibility with factory head units that monitor impedance, while additional inputs include RCA, optical digital, USB with OTG functionality and Bluetooth 5.1. Eight RCA DSP outputs provide flexible routing options for more advanced system layouts. If external amplification is added later, the internal amplifier can be disabled via software and the unit used as a pure DSP. Configuration is carried out via a Windows based USB interface, with up to ten presets stored in the internal memory.
